The Champions League

In a final no one expected, from the predictions of Ajax vs. Barcelona, it is an all out English club final with, Liverpool coming up against Tottenham. In a game which is decisive to both teams, winner takes home a trophy that will leave a new legacy for both teams. While the odds are against the Spurs and many believe Liverpool will prevail, it has been a tournament of underdogs which will make the game all the more exciting.

Liverpool- One of the strongest teams there is at the moment, for the 2nd consecutive year they have made it to the Champions League Final seeking redemption from the loss a year ago. Their squad will consist the likes of Mo Salah, Sadio Mane, and the terrific duo of Fullbacks in, Andrew Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold. Their pacey squad makes them dangerous on the counter-attack, while the team also being able to play with the ball makes them a team to be feared on or off the ball.

Tottenham- Coming into the game as underdogs, they made an incredible comeback against Ajax beating them 3-2 in the second leg after going down 1-0 in the first leg, winning on away goals. The Spurs will be back with their prolific goalscorer, Harry Kane, back from injury which will be a great addition to the team. The team has a pacey duo of Son Heung-min and Lucas Moura which has been the key to the teams success with Fernando Llorente being the man capable of holding the ball for more chances to be created.

The Final will be an entertaining match to watch, with both clubs fighting hard for the major prize, it will be a match with strength, pace, and hopefully a lot of goals being scored leading up for an entertaining match between two clubs awaiting their first trophy of the season.
